Work Experience

At Bensham Manor pupils have the opportunity to do work experience in Years 10, 11 and Post 16.

In year 10 they participate in a one week placement in July, Year 11 a 2 week placement in June and Post 16 one day a week during term time.

Year 10 & 11 are encouraged to find their own placements, but support is offered by the Work Experience Coordinator to help guide them and find a suitable placement. In Post 16 places are found and then pupils have the opportunity to try different ones.

We have different places that regularly offer placements, these include: Primary Schools, Nurseries, Charity shops, Supermarkets, Garden Centres, The Poppy Factory and have been successful with some local businesses.
