Being educated at Bensham Manor School ensures that you have the opportunity to prepare for the next phase in your education and life. Whilst at Bensham you will have undertaken lots of life skills work, done work experience, attended college, looked at travel training and prepared for the world of work through interview days. You will have learned how to sit examinations and take part in teacher assessments, developed your social skills, learned how to ride a bike and even had real life driving lessons!
We prepare all of our pupils to attend college or to remain at Bensham Manor’s Post 16 provision. The colleges that our pupils choose include: Croydon College, Carshalton College, Nescot College, Bromley College and Capel Manor. Pupils undertake a wide variety of courses including: IT, Animal Care, Childcare, Hospitality, Catering, Sports Studies, Mechanics, Art and Design and Skills for Independence.
We keep in touch with colleges to monitor the progress of our pupils and can continue to offer support to families during the transition process from school to college.
An education at Bensham Manor gives pupils the skills they need to progress.
