SfL Overview

Skills for Life lessons provide a breadth of opportunities for all pupils at Bensham Manor. Pupils are engaged in a wide range of activities that aim to make them ready for the different careers that are available.

The Skills for Life curriculum forms part of Bensham’s Careers Programme. Pupils are provided with experiences of meeting working professionals, developing a curriculum vitae, developing interview techniques or accessing work experience.  

The Skills for Life curriculum aims to build the pupils range of skills so that they are ready for the world of work and have developed their own ideas for the different career path they would like to take and the skills, awards and accreditations that can help them take the right steps.
